Voip - added a Digium TDM400
We just added a Digium TDM400P with three FXO ports into our voice server at our Crown Court location at Generation Church.
This has a number of ramifications:
Not paying for call forwards to our VOIP provider
Our three copper lines hook straight into our virtual voice infrastructure - all lines are available at both locations
Phones still work [...]

Oricom IP7 USB Handsets
I just scored an awesome deal. 8 Oricom IP 7 USB handsets for $5 each, reduced from $50 at Harvey Norman. The sales staff could not believe their eyes when they saw me carting them off to the checkout!
This means that I can use them for our call centre when we get around to building [...]
Asterisk VOIP Servers at Generation
After a month of wrangling, we now have two Asterisk servers running between our two offices.
Our main server, located on a fat fibre connection manages our main connection to our VOIP provider - Faktortel.

I have now [...]

She clearly verbalised our vision and mission statements so clearly that I was overcome with dumbness! Of course! Duh…
Vision: A house of healing, a house of hope, a house that brings heaven to earth.
Mission: Serving locally, impacting globally.
I was [...]
VOIP - Adding low cost Internet phone lines to your church PABX
Recently we added two voice-over-internet-protocal (VOIP) phone lines to our existing 4 incoming land lines at Generation Church. One of the lines is for our Generation Buiness Network and the other, and additional line for cheap, cost effective local, national and international calls.
The company I chose was a local Gold Coast company called VtalkVoIP.
Armed with [...]
Flock 0.7 - Cardinal
Today I have been basking in the glory of Flock, definately the most awesome browser ever created. Based on Firefox, Flock is a Web 2.0 browser that allows you to connect to your blog and add entries, easily upload pics to photobucket of Flickr, and most importantly, manage your social bookmarks in del.icio.us.
The bloggers browser.
